What determines the price
Four factors set the rate:
- ✓Actual weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H / 5000)
- ✓Dimensions: surcharges apply beyond certain sizes
- ✓Route: islands and remote areas cost slightly more
- ✓Service: home delivery, pick-up point or locker
How to pay less
Use a drop-off point instead of home pick-up when you can, declare exact weight and measurements (avoiding adjustments) and always compare multiple carriers: on the same route the gap between the priciest and cheapest often exceeds 40%.
